First use

Ensure firmness: Ensure the firmness of the installation, leave enough installation space for the water heater on the solid wall, ensure that the water heater is powered by an independent power supply, and have a leakage protection device.

Air discharge: Open the water outlet valve and then drain the hot water to ensure that the air in the water heater can be discharged smoothly. Make sure that the water in the water heater is full before turning on the power for heating.

Regular maintenance

Heating tube: After a period of use, the water heater is more likely to gather in the heating tube and other parts, which seriously affects the heating efficiency and consumes electricity. Therefore, general electric water heaters need to maintain the heating tube regularly. Regular maintenance of the heating tube can improve the thermal efficiency and save electricity.

Inner tank: Similar to the heating tube, it is also very important to clean the inner tank of the water heater regularly. It is recommended that you follow the steps for cleaning the inner tank in the product manual to complete this work: First turn off the power, empty the water in the water heater, and then put it in clean water for cleaning. After cleaning, you should also fill the water heater with water and then turn on the power and restart the heating of the water heater, just like the first time you use the water heater.

Cleaning the body surface: turn off the power first, then use a neutral detergent with a soft fabric to wipe the shell of the water heater, and then wipe the shell with a clean wet cloth. Here, please note that you cannot use strong acid and alkaline cleaning agents, you cannot use hard objects to clean the body shell, and you cannot use showering, soaking, etc. to clean the body shell of the water heater.

Shower: If the water output of the shower head is reduced, you must clean up the blocked debris in time to ensure that the outlet is unobstructed, which will help extend the service life of the water heater.

When the water heater is in normal use, replace the thermostat and heater at the designated maintenance point every three years. Replace the overdue water heater in time. Electric water heaters should be inspected and maintained once a year, because there are more or less impurities in the water. After the heating body is used for a period of time, it is easy to be corroded by alkaline substances in the water, which will also affect the safety performance of the electric water heater.

Carefully detect and eliminate safety performance and other potential hidden dangers; users who do not turn off the power of the water heater all year round should frequently check whether the water heater is normal, and send it to the maintenance point for repair in time if there is any abnormality.

Turn off the power supply when the water heater is not used for a long time

When the water heater is not used for a long time, turn off the power supply and drain the water in the inner tank; unplug the power plug to make the water heater in a power-off state. This is mainly for safety. If the water heater is not used for a long time, but is kept in working state, it will cause the components in the water heater to age faster and shorten the service life of the water heater.
